This piece originated from my thinking about prints. Prints are basically papers that given values through images. If the images are removed from the surface, what is left is simply a blank piece of paper. I chose to use the most powerful print for my work --- banknotes. I scraped off banknotes' surface with a razor blade. And through the logic discussed in the beginning, the most valuable part of banknotes is the layer I scraped off, which now forms a pile of pink powder.

I put these pink powders into a sugar jar, and then made it into a supermarket discount poster, which writes "30% OFF, GOOD PRICE& STILL SWEET". I have my doubts and question about money. In today's complex capitalist society, people desperately want/need money, which makes money ever sweet. Yet, hardly anyone understands how the capital operates, and ultimately, what is money.
